India is one of the few countries in the world where explicit idolatry is openly celebrated. Public displays of paganism are common with idols present in nearly every town and city.

Famous public idols include the Murudeshwara or Shiva statue in Karnataka, which stands at over 35 metres tall. Census reports show that over 800 million Hindus currently reside in India, with idols playing a big role in ritual practises.

Statues of public figures are also a common feature of the Indian landscape. The Indian state of Gujarat announced in 2011 a project to build the world’s tallest statue paying ‘tribute’ to one of the foremost protagonists of Indian independence, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a close companion of the tyrant Mohandas Gandhi.

Associating partners or equals to Allah (God) is seen as the biggest crime in Islam. Allah says in the Quran, “…Indeed, associating partners with Allah is a great injustice.” [EMQ 31:13]

Islam also prohibits the construction of statues of living beings, men or women, righteous or wicked. Allah (God) relates to mankind (in the Quran) about the downfall of the people of ‘Ad, who erected large statues in commemoration of pious men. They were destroyed by a terrible storm.

The establishment of the shariah in India will ultimately see an end to all public idols and statues. Although non-Muslims (Hindus, Buddhists etc.) will not be prohibited from practising their religion privately, construction of idols and statues (in the public arena) will.

Large scale projects outlining the destruction of public idols and statues will most likely be enforced, returning India back to her glorious Islamic past.

As a possible replacement to India’s (public) idols and statues, we envisage the construction of Masjids (mosques), symbolising the transformation from polytheism to monotheism, from darkness to light.

The Shari'ah 4 Hind project is not a new phenomenon but rather a call for the Indian sub-continent to go back to its glorious golden period under the divine law, in order for it to come out of the misery and malaise under which it finds itself today. This involves a call for all those in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan to come out of the darkness of man made law and unite together under the beauty and justice of Islam. The Shari'ah is the divine law as contained in the Qur'an and the Sunnah according to the understanding of the companions of the Messenger Muhammad (saw).

The recent history of the Indian sub-continent is fraught with hardship, poverty, racism and oppression. We are not calling for people to go back to 1971 or 1947 or even 1857 but rather to before the British occupied India and to the example of the Messenger Muhammad (saw) on how to govern the affairs of Muslims and non-Muslims. The current leadership and political parties of all persuasions on this sub-continent offer no more than the same indignity and servitude to fellow human beings who are subject to greed, inconsistency, contradiction and injustice.

It was the British, who in 1947 split up India into various state-lets leading to bloodshed and mayhem. This resulted in the biggest migration of people ever. This episode of history also saw the sons and daughters of India and the new found Pakistan look to the west for guidance and many in fact migrated to Europe for what they thought was a better life. How ironic that the children and grandchildren of those emigrants have gone back to their roots and the truth of the divine law and are today calling for Muslims to take back what is rightfully theirs i.e. the authority to implement the Shari'ah over the whole of India and its surrounding countries.

We therefore call upon Muslims everywhere to rise up and speak the truth, to call for what is theirs, for those who have a deep understanding of Islam and can culture the masses about the truth of the Islamic way of life to go back to the lands of their forefathers and bring about the revival with the help of Allah. Let not the pure objectives of those before us, such as the Muhammad Bin Qasim At-Thaqafi, who began the conquest of India and the latter Khilafah movement who attempted to restore the divine law in India, die. Rather the time is rife today to make the shari'ah sweep across India and insha'allah from there to the whole world. Let us take a lesson from the Arab spring and rise up against the tyrants in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. But let us not make the mistake of calling for the false idols of democracy and freedom but rather the truth of Islam and the Khilafah.

Some of the many problems that a united Indian sub-continent will resolve are the troubles in Kashmir, the problem of Ayodha mosque, the discrimination in Gujarat, the inner cities slums as in Mumbai, exploitation and widespread bribery, the presence of foreign forces (as in Afghanistan), public idolatry, the inhuman caste system, drugs, alcohol, promiscuity and pornography, the use of men and women's gender for monetary gain, usury, gambling, the boom and bust of the capitalist economic model etc... please contact us and explore this site for more details. Moreover all non-Muslims will be given the Zimmi status where their life and wealth will be protected in return for obeying the divine law of the land who will never be asked to be part of the Muslim armies whose job it will be to expand the frontiers of the Islamic State (into China, Indonesia, Malaysia etc...) and protect it from its enemies.

With a united Indian sub-continent and with the annexation of the Muslims around it from China, Indonesia, Malaysia etc... we will have united together over a billion Muslims, creating a superpower unparallel in the world. It being obliged for every mature, sane and capable Muslim man to be part of the armies of Jihad, this will be the beginning of the end of man made law on the Earth insha'allah and could fulfil the prophecy of the Messenger Muhammad (saw) i.e. Izhar ud-Deen, the complete domination of the world by Islam.

This renewed campaign is already well underway and will have as one of its milestones an upcoming massive demonstration and press conference calling for the truth in major cities across India starting with Delhi soon insha'allah. We call upon all the serious Islamic movements and scholars to support this call, especially their physical support on the streets with the Muslims masses insha'allah.

Shariya for India, website calls for Islamic revolution on March 3rd

website with the url www.shariah4hind.com has come into existence on Internet. The website aims at establishing Shariyah rule in India. The website is being run from Atlanta, USA and the owners include Sheikh Anjem, Manager of Shariah Courts in Britain. The website proclaims that as per Quran, non-Muslims are not supposed to rule over Muslims and Islam doesn't permit secularism. The site calls for resurrecting the lost glory of Islam in Indian subcontinent and calls for establishing Islamic rule. The website says that Islamic constitution puts Indian constitution to shame. It also calls for boycotting the ongoing Assembly Elections and uniting to impose Shariyah. It issues fatwahs against political parties in India. The site calls for Islamic ummah to gather for the revolution on 3rd March 2012.

It's noteworthy that in India muslims already enjoy special privileges and a Quran-compliant civil code which allows them to have 4 wives among other idiosyncrasies. Despite that, the site calls for a Shariyah even for non-Muslims. The site takes grave exception to Hindu practices and calls for removal of all statues, of deities and leaders, from public space. The site gives Hindus concession that after Shariyah, they'll still be able to pray to their lords in their houses but not in public places like temples. The site hosts an image of abeheaded Lord Shiva statue, among others, to hint at the movement's intentions.



The press release on the website of Sheikh Anjem lists what Hindus and Sikhs will undergo when India will be sharia ruled. It includes paying Jizya (as compensation to Muslims who will protect them), not building any temples as Islam prohibits 'bad things', ban on celebrating Diwali, Christmas etc., ban on holding public meetings, wearing different clothes, not raising houses above muslim houses etc.



Since the website runs from USA and the owners are based in Britain, it is not clear how much impact the site would have on Indian muslims. However, it's no secret that Muslim scholars like Zakir Naik exist in India who openly indulge in conversions, and openly proclaim Islam as the only true religion while denouncing native Hinduism and putting question marks on Hindu rituals and deities, and has also endorsed Shariyah for India. They also enjoy political patronage from ruling Congress and evident by the participation of a Congress General Secretary in his program. Then comes the huge number ofMadarsas and Imams who even have problems with slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai. Thus, any such attempt to impose shariya in India from outside is bound to get support from these sections of Islamic preachers and Imams and Madarsas etc. Muslim appeasement by political parties is nothing new to India and current elections have exposes a new dimensions of theirs.



In the light of all this, native Hindutva forces need to come together and also make active efforts to wake up the Hindus sleeping courtesy the soporifics of pseudo-secularism.

Karnataka ministers were only watching porn and not doing it: Parrikar

Panaji, Feb 9 (IANS) The three Karnataka ministers who were sacked for watching porn clips in the state assembly were "only watching and not doing it in action", a BJP leader said here Thursday.

Leader of opposition Manohar Parrikar, asked about the three BJP ministers, told reporters: "There are people all across the country who do worse things. Congress leaders have chopped women and burnt them in a tandoor... In Madhya Pradesh, a Congressman chopped his wife and fed her to crocodiles... Then there was the Bhanwari devi case.

"They (the three Karnataka ministers) were only watching and not doing it in action like these Congressmen," said Parrikar, who also heads the BJP's good governance cell.

He also said that the action of the Karnataka state BJP to immediately sack the three ministers - Laxman Savadi, C.C. Patil and Krishna Palemar - was laudatory. "I congratulate the party for taking action quickly," Parrikar said.

So it is quiet understood thing that Islam has no place for other religion and further point to be noted is they tactfully use the word republic i.e Islamic republic, freedom only for muslims, rest are devils their women are a subject to sex object. You cannot see any other religion with such a sort of hypocrisy. He further writes It is essential to remember that the Islamic Republic of Iran is modeled and based on the principles of Independence and freedom of Islamic Revolution (i.e means Jihad). I don't understand when our India is a secular republic then how come such hypocrisy allowed in our media print when it comes to appeasing muslim minorities.

How can we recognize a Jivanmukta? - Swami Vivekananda

How can we recognize a Jivanmukta? "Recognizing" a Jivanmukta can be difficult if not purely subjective. Although "inner" change is uniform in the enlightened state (absence of ignorance re: one's true nature) it's "outer" manifestation can take various forms. Not everyone could recognize even Ramakrishna's divinity in his lifetime and even afterward--and he was not just a jivanmukta, he was an avatara! So there is no reason to suppose everyone can recognize a jivanmukta when they see one. And it is not necessary either. The point is that, according to Vedantic understanding of reality and the human situation, it is possible to be "free" here and now. Enlightenment doesn't have to be an after- death experience. If that were to be so, there would be no enlightened teachers around, as they would drop dead the moment they attained enlightenment. Whether or not we meet a jivanmukta or can recognize one in our lifetime, according to Vedanta each of us has the potential to become a jivanmukta ourselves. When we become jivanmuktas, I don't think we'd care if anyone recognized us as such or feel offended if they didn't. Nor would we want to advertise our achievement. The "I" of a jivanmukta is very different from the "I" of an unenlightened person.

I have found Dvaita (dualism), Advaita (nondualism), and Vishishtadvaita (qualified nondualism) on the Web. Please explain the differences among these three philosophies and the implications of each of the philosophies for the spiritual seeker.

The basic difference between these philosophies is in how we understand our self. With Dvaita we look upon our self as one soul among many souls which are all different and separate from God. With Vishishtadvaita, we regard our soul as a part of God. With Advaita, we realize that the Soul or Self is non-different from the Absolute or Brahman. One implication of the three philosophies is that there is a progression in the awareness of our spiritual nature culminating in the unitive nondual realization in which the sense of separation and difference fades away and disappears in the Advaitic realization.

Some Vedanta sites on the Web seem to emphasize the personal God and others no recognizable God at all, but a vast abstraction called Brahman. Why do these differences exist in one religion?

Vedanta encompasses multiple approaches to the Divine Reality because the actual experience of Divine Reality differs from person to person. Furthermore, those who have not actually experienced the Divine Reality may conceive of God in highly individual or personal ways which are in accord with their temperament. For example, some persons may think of God as personal, others as impersonal. Vedanta recognizes these differences and supplies the practical support (yogas) and philosophies corresponding to the different paths to the goal. Because Vedanta is based on the actual spiritual experiences of seers which may differ from one seer to another, Vedanta encompasses multiple approaches to the Divine Reality. All people do not conceive of the Divine in the same way. Many people think of God as personal, others conceive of God as impersonal. Vedanta recognizes these differences and supplies both practical support with the different yogas and differing philosophies corresponding to the different paths to God.

Who is a Jivanmukta? Which Vedanta texts refer to the concept of a Jivanmukta?

Translated literally, the Sanskrit word "Jivanmukta" means "living-free": it's an epithet given to a person who becomes spiritually enlightened, because only such a person is really "free" in the truest sense of the term. We don't have to die in order to taste this freedom. We can experience it right here, right now. Such spiritually free people do exist in every generation and it is they who keep the lamp of spirituality burning brightly. The concept of Jivanmukta appears in many Vedanta texts. See especially the following Upanishads: Brihadaranyaka 3.8.10 and 4.4.14, Kena 2.3.5, Katha 2.3.4; and the Gita 5.23 and 5.26. In addition, of course, see the characteristics of the Sthitaprajna (a person of "established wisdom") Gita 2:55-70, which describe how a Jivanmukta lives. The jivanmukta category is also identified with a person who has gone "beyond the gunas" (gunatita) in the Gita and the characteristic of such a person are also given. The "Vivekachudamani" and other Vedanta works also describe (usually toward the end) the characteristic of a jivanmukta. There is one entire text titled "Jivanmukti- Viveka" which deals with this subject.
